Today, in the unfashonable western spiral arm of the galaxy...
I managed to stay pretty well-informed as to the whereabouts of my towel yesterday.
I am in awe of a man who can travel the length and breadth of the known galaxy and still know where his towel is. Such a person is a force to be reckoned with.

It's from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Funny series of books; I highly recommend them. The BBC radio plays are also very good, but I recommend reading the books 1st.

For sure....a fun read. They did a slightly clunky version for BBC television that is neat as long as you're not expecting Industrial Light and Magic effects.
I wish I bought that instead of the stupid Encyclopedia Galatica.
Its slightly cheaper for a start...

Funny thing: the radio series actually came first.
I always assumed the novel came before the BBC Radio series, but nope!
I got the original radio series as an unexpected 'bonus' in a mp3 collection of BBC sci-fi radio series that cost me about $2.99. It a great listen!
I'm glad it's something anyway.
