Title: Troma films on youtube.
Post by: dean on June 16, 2012, 07:45:17 AM
I figure people will be interested in this:

Troma releasing a whole heap of their back catalogue for free on youtube.

Seems like a decent haul of absolute rubbish!

Yep, some absolute garbage in there. I did see TROMEO AND JULIET, though.

Am I blind, or is the first "Class of Nuke'Em High" not on the list? I see parts 2 and 3, but not the original.

That figures. They shot part of the first one in my hometown and I haven't seen it in over twenty years, here I figured I'd grab a few beers, settle in front of YouTube and go down memory lane with it, aaaaaaand... denied. :(

It looks like they're gradually adding their back catalogue online, but are saving some of the big guns for themselves/waiting to add them later.

Just watched part of "A Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell!" just because the title seemed so ridiculous.

There's a few gems there, including Cannibal the Musical by the South Park guys.  But yes a whole lotta crap.

Tried to watch "fatty rides the bus" but despite some funny moments it was just too sluggish to keep my interest.
Also watched "Lollilove" which was a pleasent surprise from the troma ppl. Jenna Fischer directs and acts in a mockumentary about a delusional couple that comes up with a plan to help the homeless by giving them lollipops. For a movie made for a purported 2000$ (!) this is surprisingly well made and at just over an hour never gets boring. Loyd Kaufman, Jason Segel, and others have cameo appearences. Would reccomend to all.

Cannibal The Musical is amongst Troma's 'best', although they had (I believe), limited involvement beyond distribution.

Who knew they'd also give us Orgazmo, Team America and the legendary South Park?

Video Vixens has lots of naked chicks in it but overall it disappointed me. (Lloyd has done a far better job of splicing the sexier parts of this movie together in the special features of other DVD's.)

I was very happy to see Terror Firmer in there, (the last good Troma movie,) as well as the Brick Bronski Nuke Em High movies. That said I agree, much of the stuff they're uploading are very, very bad. Then again very, very bad is my favorite kind of movie!  :hot:

If any Troma experts here would like to write a short post called "Your Guide to Troma on YouTube" for 366 Weird Movies please contact me. What I'm looking for is 1-2 sentence descriptions of some of the more notable available titles (as many as you want to mention but at least 10).
