Is this the film version of the TV show? Never seen the show but casting Denzel is always a plus.

I like Denzel Washington, and he can certainly play that kind of character, but he's so unlike Edward Woodward, I just don't know.

Then again, a casting choice like that probably wasn't made lightly, so I'll be interested in seeing where they go with this.

Couple of years ago, I had seen a piece that said Russell Crowe was up for the part.
