Yep, I'm on another horror flick setting kick, only this time it's islands I'm after. This one is a very broad spectrum, but can anyone rattle off as many horror and sci-fi movies involving an island (can be deserted or populated) or shipwrecked characters?
I'll save you some trouble and drop a few off the bat:
Horrors of Spider Island
Humongous
Anthropophagus: The Grim Reaper
Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster
Island of Death
Zombi 2
Oops, meant to put this in Bad Movies... :bluesad:
Michael Ritchie's The Island. :buggedout:
Curse of the Komodo
House of the Dead
Pinata Survival Island (aka Demon Island)
The Flesh Eaters
The Land That Time Forgot (2009 version directed by C. Thomas Howell)
Arachnid
King of the Lost World
The Island of Dr. Moreau (I imagine all versions of this take place on an island  )
Here's a few.
SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD
SON OF GODZILLA
CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS
ZOMBIE HOLOCAUST
ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS
MATANGO aka ATTACK OF THE MUSHROOM PEOPLE
Island Of Terror :teddyr:
Moved to Bad Movies for you.
Also, DEMONIACS (1974).
Mindhunters :teddyr:
I believe that Tormented (1960) is set on an island.

There are a lot. Here's a few that I can think of quickly:
The Presence (1992)
Shock Waves
From Hell It Came
The Navy vs. the Night Monsters
The Island
Bleeders
Screamers (AKA: Island of the Fish Men)
Yog: Monster from Space
Warbirds
2-Headed Shark Attack
Killdozer
Brides of Blood
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Mad Doctor of Blood Island
Beast of Blood
Atlantis the Lost Continent
Latitude Zero
Escape 2000
Dinosaurus!
Mysterious Island
Battle Royale
Island of the Burning Doomed
Dont forget It's Alive 3: Island of the Alive. In this one a judge sentences the mutant babies of the trilogy to live on an island together. For some reason Michael Moriarty disagrees with this and seeks to free the killer mutant children.
King of the Zombies
The Killer Shrews
What??? No mention of Lord of the Flies? It is not a bad movie and not really scary but I think it shold belong.
The remake is worth a see. The movie shows how society can break down.
Also you should mention (the island part shows up at the end of the movie), Deep Rising.
Later,
John
The Wicker Man
Frankenstein Island
Haha! Thanks everyone! I've jotted all of the names down.
A few more:
Island Claws (1980)
Humongous (1982)
The Slayer (1982)
Island of Blood a.k.a. Whodunit (1982)
Attack of the Beast Creatures (1985)
The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996)

Michael Ritchie's The Island. :buggedout:
Is that the one based on the book by Peter Benchley? 'Cause that was pretty bad.
