oooEEEEIIIOooooo....!
In ancient China Confucius was fishing in a river when a nobleman's son ran to him shouting that in the night he'd been visited by his father's ghost.
"What was your father wearing?" Confucius asked.
"His robes of state," the young man replied.
"Then what you saw was a dream, for there is no afterlife for clothing."
Somehow that explanation always made sense to me, and whenever I see a supposed ghost photo, I have to wonder why would a departed soul be draped in phantom fabric?

Is not human skin and bones not a fabric for a soul?
If ya believe in that stuff.
What do I believe?
I believe I know NOTHING about ANYTHING so anything may be real..or not.
In the long run-I dont even CARE if ones religious beliefs, magical thinking-or any such thing is ridicoulous or not.

Love is the answer.
Here's a photo of the supposed ghost who leers out of the Pickens County, Alabama courthouse.
The story goes an ex-slave was being held in the courthouse when lightening struck him while he was peering out of the window - freezing his ghostly face in the window. Naturally replacing the window and cleaning with gasoline and Windex have no effect! He's always looked pretty jolly to me for a condemned spirit.

I can't post a pic, but google The Brown Lady.
Also, I was one warped kid. Wrote a paper at the age of ten for a school project about what I wanted to be as an adult. My job I wanted: paranormal researcher/parapsychologist of some sort. I recall checking out paranormal books in the library and writing to local paranormal places.

Interesting picture. I think it's a fake. It's too artistic. It seems well balanced, and the staircase seems to guide your eye towards the ghost.

Around the turn of the 19th century it was a fad for mediums to have themselves photographed producing 'ectoplasm', which is supposed to be some kind of ghostly goo.

As you can see these are all 100 per cent real!

^ I love the one where the goo is comming out of the medium's nose. :bouncegiggle:
