Title: 70s TV Horror movie about witches and a doll...?
Post by: shooby2020 on October 17, 2012, 05:36:30 AM
Ok you guys-- help!

My mom used to watch horror movies that one of our local stations used to play weekday afternoon.  I think some were originally(bad)  theatrical releases, but some were made for Tv type things.  I remember seeing "Gargoyles" played a lot back in the early to mid 70s, for example.

I have fleeting memories of a film to which I cannot find out anything.   All I remember is a creepy woods, I think there were witches, and the strongest memory I have is of a cloth doll with a mark of (I believe) blood on her forehead, in the woods....

That's it. That's all I remember.  I've been searching and searching to no avail, and at this point I figure it was just in my mind...lol
Help!

I could be wrong but this sounds like the TV movie Crowhaven Farm with Hope Lange to me: one of the scariest films I have ever seen.  :buggedout:

I've had a couple of people mention this film-- I skimmed through it on youtube, but I didn't see anything about a doll... I'll try to just watch the whole thing, but I still don't think that's it... :(

The Witches of Eastwick have 3 witches and a doll...but that's supposed to be a comedy fantasy.

Def not WOE---in WOE is wasn't really a doll as much as a wax figure...and that film was made in the 80-s, not the 70s, and the movie I remember had a cloth doll...  I appreciate the try!
