If this is true and if the regular sales stay consistent, this comic will outsell the following characters' comics:
Batman
Superman
Green Lantern
Justice League
Wonder Woman
X-Men
Avengers
Spider-Man
Captain America
Hulk
The Walking Dead
Now this could change with Marvel Now, but still. This is big. Not very many comics nowadays sell over 100,000 copies.
I should order that just to see my wife's reaction when she finds me reading it - that would be worth the purchase price I'm sure :bouncegiggle:
I honestly have to get around to watching MLP on the Hub.
I only get small run independent comics myself, most only have runs of 250 to 750 copies. A lot of underground or basement comics (In fact one is published by Basement Comics) and other self published stuff. I can't believe or even understand how My Little Pony could get 100,000 orders???
My Little Pony fans invoke both great fear and great pity in me.
I think this is due largely to the growing "brony" population.
I've seen Friendship is magic. It's okay. It's just another one of those smart alecky kids shows with all the pop culture sort of references and , you know, "Helooo, too much information.." type humor. I'd rather watch Huckleberry Blue Dog

I'm just going to come right out and say it. I tried watching the show, and I couldn't get past the fact that it was My Little Pony. There, I admitted my bias. Yeah, I'll take Huckleberry Hound, or hell, Hair Bear Bunch (which I honestly can't stand) over MLP: Friendship.
I'd like it better if it was spelled Hair Bair Bunch.
