Could it be? Could what looks like a more grown up version of Power Rangers actually be good? I'm looking forward to this.
It doesn't look like Power Rangers. Makes me think more of a giant robot show. Looks great! I shouldn't get my hopes up, I mean Alien vs Predator and Bayformers didn't look so bad.
It's like Neon Genesis and Cloverfield had a baby with Avatar and a touch of the game Portal.
Based on Del Toro's work this should be a fun nerd-out!
Yahoo!! Can't wait for this

YES PLEASE.
Gotta see this puppy.
Can't help nerding...the monster skeleton on the carrier? How did they balance the load that high above the waterline?
Guess suing a carrier to deliver it is way cooler that a supertanker.
I'm looking forward to this one, though the story does seem to be a combination of "Evangelion" and "Real Steel." The creature on the carrier reminds me of Deanzilla (the American Godzilla). That could be a nod to that film, and seeing it dead will not make me shed a tear. Knowing Del Toro, I am hoping that one of the main monsters will have a Cthulhu mythos-inspired appearance. What we need here is a full-fledged Nyarlathotep!
I'm not getting my hopes up. I have yet to really enjoy anything by del Toro. Plus, I think I detect a romantic subplot. Blah.
I may wait for the Blu-ray so I can skip past anything that isn't a monster battle.
I saw the trailer for this on the big screen when I went to see THE HOBBIT. Looks amazing!
