Post by: Genjuro on April 29, 2002, 10:40:35 PM
Anyone have any idea what the song is at the end of the movie Commando starring Arnold Schwarzenegger?  this site has a little wav of it, calls it the Commando-song.  I was wondering if anyone knows the artist and title.  thanks.

AHHH! I know what song you mean but I can't remeber the name. If it comes to me I'll let you know. Catchy song.

Check the IMDB.  It should have a soundtrack listing for it.

I looked there for soundtrack information once and I would swear to God they had no such listings anywhere.  I go there now and, clear as day, there it is.  I am either getting old or careless.  Both are fatal.

Any way.

The information you want, Genjuro, is at http://us.imdb.com/Soundtracks?0088944.

Ah, IMdB!  Is there any question you can't answer?

(Actually, yes, but that's beside the point...)

Mid-eighties singer/B movie veteran Michael Des Barres is the singer of that "Commando" end song(I think it was called "We Fight for Love").
Mr. Des Barres was also in that 80s band with Robert Palmer, that had made only one sole album, can't remember their damn name.Only can remember their hit song "Some Like It Hot" was all over MTV(and featured in "National Lampoon's European Vacation"),and their follow-up was "Get It On",a remake of T. Rex's early 70s hit tune, featuring a hot young chick wandering around in skimpy lingerie(the way music videos always are).

"Power Station" with Rober Palmer and Andy Taylor and I think Nick Taylor from Duran Duran. .  Named after the studio where they did the recording
