I've already seen the thread on another board, and--frankly--when I first saw it, I thought it was just a mistake made by the person in the costume, who I have heard is black himself. As those costumes are really suppose to be hard to see out of, especially to see someone who is really close to the costumed character.
But, more than that, I think the whole incident is one more reason to think our system for civil law is broken. When we have something that is broken, we toss it out and get something new, or we get it fixed. So, why we haven't fixed the system for civil law here in the U.S. is beyond me.
I once sat in on an argument where a pot called a kettle black, and the kettle successfully sued for discrimination.....
