Sad news. She always seemed like a genuinely sweet person. RIP
She was such a lovely, sincere person. The picture of wholesome,American beauty with style and humor. She will be truly missed. :bluesad:

She was, but she also suffered for many, many years with multiple sclerosis.
I can't help feeling relieved that her struggle with it is finally over.
Goodbye, Annette. I never watched any of your movies, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate your contribution to entertainment. Rest well.
This news saddened me, but, as Major J pointed out, at least she isn't suffering any longer.
I'll have to dig out my cd box set of her music and listen to some of it today...

Very true....I'm glad she is no longer in pain.
Here's Brother Jimmy Dodd, and herself, as we'll always remember her....Godspeed, lass.

Yes, she was definitely easy on the eyes of many a budding young 50's era male, to be sure. The beach movies with her and Frankie Avalon were always fun to watch too. With her passing, a milestone for the day of clean. well-behaved wholesome American youth has been reached.
R.I.P. Annette. Thanks for all the fun, innocent charm you added to so many escapist, silly movies that were still better for having you as part of the cast.
