I'm sorry.
That's two minutes of my life I'll never get back!
You know what? There was actually a good joke in that preview.
The Avengers saying they show up at the end of every movie was mildly amusing.
I suppose the law of averages works in their favor. Throw enough pointless jokes and references out and something is bound to get some kin d of response.
But then they ruined the joke by blowing them up.
Movies like this, they're not comedies. They're not parodies. They're a genre of their own. I propose we call it "Anti-Humor". They make you laugh at everything but the movie itself. After watching something like this, anything seems funnier in comparison.
Pauly Shore? A laugh riot.
That guy who smashed watermelons with a hammer? Comedic Genius!
Schindler's List? The feel good movie of the year!
Makes me feel sorry for humanity. Well it makes me feel loathsome towards humanity and sorry for myself, but it sounds kind of negative when I put it that way.
