I have no idea how I missed this. Even more surprising to me is that James Best is still alive, and that he appears in this sequel!

So, of course I have to give...

Way cool!! I had seen something on the Net a couple of years ago about how James Best had "developed a screenplay" for a "Shrews" sequel and he was trying to find financial backing to get the flick made, but that was the last I'd heard, so I thought nothing came of it.
Nice of his old "Dukes" friend John Schneider to help him out on it too.
Those are the worst CGI monsters I've ever seen.
I love it! Kudos on keeping the horrible effects tradition alive!
Wow. :buggedout:
I know I've said this before but ... my b-movie life really is complete. A 50-year-later sequel to Killer Shrews -- that was made with input from and starring James Best!(!!!)
C'mon, seriously now ... what does a bad movie lover have to look forward to after this? Nothing can top this, ever.
What, carpet-dogs were too expensive? :tongueout: I like the shrews but I'm definitely not keen on the reality show slant here.
get the letterbox hole barrels ready
Thank you for digging up the trailer. At first glance I do not like the shrews, but then I have a love for older special effects using suits, latex, and the like. Watching someone being attacked by CGI shrews just isn't the same as dogs wearing carpet remnants and masks.
I did notice that the drinking is still present. At least Mr. Best appears to be, once again, tossing down a few.

( on your sig line too!)
Makes a good sports team name. The Florida Carpet Dogs!
Or the Shag Harbor Shrews.
