Hello,
When I was a kid I once saw a movie that featured elvis, I'm hoping someone can give me some help to track it down.
These are the few scenes I remember:
There was a possible hitman (antihero) walking with this homeless guy, and the homeless guy is going on and on about how he makes a good living picking up coins on the street.
Eventually this angers the hitman person enough to punch him out.
Then there was another scene discussing how elvis isn't dead or something, and finally a scene with two guys discussing stuff in a bar when Elvis or an impersonator is on stage.
Also it took place in a desert like setting... looked like it could have been from late 70-90's
Please help me find this film, at least I think it was a film.

Possibly "True Romance"? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108399/
Nope, I own true romance, it's a great film but not the one.
It's also not 3000 miles to graceland...
I have no idea what the film is, but it's eating me up inside...
Hmmm, interesting...
The weirdest noir that features an Elvis impersonator that I'm familiar with is CRIME WAVE (aka THE BIG CRIME WAVE). Have a look and see if it fits: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088963/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088963/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) It's like Canada's answer to BLUE VELVET.
Nope not that one either, makes me sad...
Bump
It's a stretch but could it have been INTO THE NIGHT (85) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089346/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089346/)
It has a hit man, set in LA (which is basically a desert), and an Elvis impersonator.
Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lVkYr6alfE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lVkYr6alfE)
Maybe HONEYMOON IN VEGAS (1992)?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104438/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_60 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104438/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_60)
Or-WILD AT HEART (1990) which is a noir.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100935/?ref_=kw_li_tt (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100935/?ref_=kw_li_tt)
Oddly,both feature Nicholas Cage.....
There is no scene in WILD AT HEART where Cage (or any other actor) punches out a homeless man for bragging about lose change. Actually, there's no Elvis impersonator either - besides Sailor (Cage) himself, who doesn't impersonate Elvis, he just expresses admiration for him.
