I made a thread about what everyone is giving so I thought why not make one about what everyone is getting.
Right now I'm witnessing the most odd of Christmas traditions: 2 cop cars stopped by a neighbors house & neighbor is quite loud. Merry Christmas everyone.
So far two new shirts and two great books - a gorgeous reprint of an 1859 biography of George Washington and a reprint of the 1589 Geneva Bible!
I told ya about the DVD & the sandwich maker in the Random Thoughts thread.
last night, my stepdad gave me this desperately needed contraption;
http://www.harborfreight.com/4-in-1-jump-starter-with-air-compressor-60666.html
And a pair of these useless things;

Here's something dumb that happened: I was at Baza, this local Russian supermarket and they had a special on smoked fish, like the whole fish. I thought it would be funny to get my sister. I was laughing about how hilarious I was when I handed it to her. Turns out she got me the same thing! Now we both have ridiculous fish we don't even know how to eat.
A box-set of EVERY 007 film, except for Skyfall.
Season 16 of The Simpsons.
Some Ministry of Sound compilation albums, consisting of some early 90s rave, jungle/drum-and-bass and trance.
An Elgato device for capturing high-definition video game footage.
A PS3 headset.
All of this yet I'm still suffering from anxiety. Lucky me.
I got two $25 gift cards to Best Buy (so the new Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Stryper and Metal Church CDs will soon be mine) and one of those 2-DVD "Midnight Horror Collection" multi packs with 8 movies on it, including Charles Band's "GingerDead Man."
I got a popcorn air-popper, an ottoman, some jelly, a homemade quilt, $100, a cakepan and some candy.
My mom got me a bunch of nice little presents, kitchen gadgets and socks mostly IIRC.
Just got back from my dad & stepmom's and my sis got me a nice Ginsu kitchen knife set to replace the rusty blades I have. That and a small baking dish I can definitely use. I bought movie theater gift certificates and lottery tickets for everyone.
My sister gave me a dvd set of the Johny Carson show and a couple of comic books, one a Spider Man ( don't recall which one) & a Captain America (something to do with him being buried alive)...
...Apparently because she knew I liked old things...
She did mention she couldn't find any Wonder Woman comics...
I, uh.... I'm not quite sure what her reasoning was... I mean, I have the complete Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter on DVD, & I used to collect MAD & Playboy, but I just don't see...
A kindle, a metal model of a Predator made out of screws and nails and random metal objects and tickets to see John Waters live when he comes to town next year. Plus random bits and bobs. Fun times!
An economy sized bottle of Crown Royal.
A hand-decorated stocking made up as R2-D2.
A hand-decorated oversized mug with a drawing of Marvin the Martian and a quotation on it. "Where's the KABOOM?"
The 2014 Star Trek quote-a-day calendar.
The complete series of Babylon 5.
Star Trek Catan
A Darth Vader candy dispenser with sound.
The first Hobbit movie.
A Dresden Files novel.
A biography of Jim Henson.
Arthur C. Clarke's 3001.
A Tad Williams paperback.
Several varieties of chocolate and lots of it.
My nerd-dom is not only verified, it is complete and (for the moment) satisfied.

Nerd? That makes you one of the coolest people on earth (in my opinion) :teddyr:
Santa got me a PS3 and 4 games (Ni No Kuni, The Last of Us, Batman Arkham Origins and Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction). My wife got me The Avengers Complete Emma Peel Megaset (YES!!!) and some clothes (yippee). The kids got me one of those TV remotes with the huge buttons on it for elderly people (I'm thinking of re-gifting it to Darksider  ). Oh and a couple of movies, On Her Majesty's Secret Service on Blu ray and Murder on the Orient express on DVD.
I got an insanely sized 24 pack of Orville popcorn. It's so big that it doesn't fit in the kitchen and is taking up space in my room. For some odd reason I got a water bottle, a gift card for Red Lobster (never been there) and a nice local fancy restraint type place that I usually don't frequent. I got a Kohl's giftcard, $40 Barnes and Noble giftcard, $50 which can be used "for the purchase of a gift card" per instructions in the card that came with it, a pair of giftcards for Starbucks and $500 between other cash and checks.

I wish they sold MST3K DVDs in the UK. It's not very popular over here unfortunately.
I got a late Christmas gift. I ordered a load of crap on Amazon, and I had enough credit to cover all of it.
I got:
Space Truckers
All 3 of The Transporter movies on BD
Def-Con 4 plus Hell Comes To Frogtown double feature
Awesome!!

Sorry to hear that. :bluesad: I imagine there are other ways for you to see the show but for me nothing beats owning a collection.

I didn't get any movies this year. This was primarily a board game Christmas. I got:
