Anyone else discover the little gem that is Troll Hunter on Netflix? It's a "found footage" flick that's pretty amusing.
No offense but why do you think this is a bad movie?
Oh, it's not, but I didn't think it was the usual fare for the "Good Movies" forum, either. It appeals to much more of a niche audience.
I saw it, it was pretty fun. They did a great job of making something as silly as trolls seem serious.
Here's a trailer.

I loved that movie. I went to see it at a theater in Portland a few years back. Lots of fun!
I liked that one too!
I love how trolls can smell your religious affiliation. :bouncegiggle:

Lol! That was brilliant. I thought the cover ups with the Russian bears was funny.
I've seen Troll Hunter several times now, it's officially one of my new favorite movies. I love the work they did on those trolls, they're wonderfully ugly to look at; whoever came up with the sounds these things make should also get major credit because my ears were nearly blown out by the end, it just sounds big:teddyr:. I enjoyed the fact that you get to see more than one type of troll, each with a different habitat- including underneath a bridge- plus the reason given for why trolls turn to stone in daylight was also pretty cool to think about.
"It's a Tosserlad. Run!"
Just caught it on Netflix, and it didn't do much to me. It has its moments, and the troll design is great, but overall I found it too predictable and by-the-numbers to be really interesting. Also, the suspense is rather tame.
I really liked this one.
