The ending of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 111 made me smile:
TMNT 1: Splinter comes up with a new war cry for his sons, they like it, he laughs and Raphael embraces his Dad.
TMNT 3: Almost the same: Mikie sees Splinter with a lampshade squashed on his head, laughs, looks for his brothers, gets a scare, it's Turtle Time and then the song Tarzan Boy plays: God bless you, Jimmy McShane. :teddyr:
Big Man Japan (2007)
The Notebook made me both cry and smile.
The ending of the South African feature film Sweet and Short made me smile through the mist.
The ending of Searching For Sugarman.
The lights came up, the credits rolled, I looked around and everyone was still seated.
The final credits passed by, the audience applauded and cheered and I went :teddyr: :teddyr: :teddyr:
After the ending credits to AIRPLANE:
(The taxi driver has been waiting for Ted Striker practically the whole movie)
Well, I'll give him another 20 minutes.. but that's it!
:teddyr:
The ending of Clerks 2.
Can you feel it? Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGE6-zXkB3I#ws)
At the end of SLEEPING BEAUTY when Flora & Merryweather are still duking it out over "blue dress vs pink dress."
THE MUPPET MOVIE - when Sweetums crashes the screening.
TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE - how after getting her ass kicked the entire movie she FINALLY catches a break.
PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE - " I don't have to watch it, Dottie. I lived it!" :teddyr:
I just finished The Sting from 1973 for the first time and that ending really made me smile.

Unfortunately not but I did work with the director which was nice.
Mr R had quite an influence on me when I was a youngster. See this thread for more:

The ending of Land Of The Dead made me :teddyr: broadly.
The ending of Jackass 3.
The closing credits with Weezer's song "Memories" and showing the pictures and videos of the guys through the years.
At the end of THE SWORD AND THE SORCEROR, when Talon shouts to his men:
"On to Maladon then, to save Lambosia's Kingdom!
Ride on! We have kingdoms to save and women to love!!"
That's just golden.
SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION. I was like "Yes! SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is finally over! And I never have to watch it again!"
After the ending credits roll for FROGS (1972) a cartoon animated frog hops across the screen, pauses and faces the viewer, sucking up a human hand dangling from its mouth, then hops offscreen. :teddyr:

I smiled too but I felt a little sad like I thought that would be the last time we would see them all together for some reason and I don't know why I felt that way.

I think you're the only person I know who didn't like
Shawshank Redemption.
The feelgood ending to KEEPING THE FAITH always makes me smile.
Bad Words (2013) in the end up it was pretty heartwarming
Recently, the ending of Guardians Of The Galaxy made me :teddyr: - also, after the end title, Drax polishing his weapon and Little Groot dancing to Michael Jackson. :teddyr:

The ending of Ballade Vir 'n Enkeling [Song For A Lonely Guy]: the hero has returned to the place of his personal nightmares, faced, battled and beat his demons, then he leaves, walks down the road and meets up with the journalist who's been trying to find out just what the heck happened to him and where he is. :teddyr: :teddyr:
[Carina brings her car to a sudden stop on the dusty road as she sees Jacques walking by]
Jacques [leans into door] "You're in a hurry."
Carina: [stunned] "Yes, sorry, I....."
Jacques: "Where are you off to?"
Carina: [realizing she's found who she's been looking for] "I was on my way somewhere but..."
Jacques: "Can I get a lift?'
Carina: "Sure."
Jacques [sees the newspaper with his story and picture in it: smiles, sticks out his hand] "Jacques Rynhard."
Carina: "Carina Human."
Jacques: "Let's drive until the petrol runs out, OK?" :teddyr: :teddyr:

You can me to that list. I didn't hate it, but it made me feel like I was being herded to the slaughter as the emotional manipulation took center stage instead of feeling more organic in its story development.
And how the hell did he re-attach that damn poster once he was in the hole? That was like a rock in my shoe: annoying and frustrating.
The end of V For Vendetta where the houses of parliment get blown up made me smile.

She's looking at her first real sunrise, too so, yes, that would make me smile too. :teddyr:
The cheese factor at the end of Mortal Kombat always makes me smile.
The end of Good Will Hunting. Will goes and drives off... His friend (Affleck) has a look of wonderment, and Williams' character says something like, "bastard stole my line." And then 'Afternoon Delight' plays. Just makes me smile, I can't help it.
