Title: Baal The Storm God (2008)
Post by: Trevor on January 13, 2014, 03:55:20 AM
This left me thinking "What the hell was that?"

Something like Alone In The Dark, just crappier. A terrible film where all the wimp hero can do is shake his fist at the statue of Baal and say "You're a bad boy."  :buggedout: :buggedout:

Did they nuke a hurricane in the trailer? Did I see that? I can't...

I think that happened in Stonehenge Apocalypse where a missile is dropped to counteract all the international crap emanating from the stone circle and the hero does it himself at the cost of his own life.

I barely recall anything about that movie other than the stonehenge set being a bit lame but cool while spinning.

Yeah, in the trailer for Ba'al, the one guy says they'll nuke the storm.

Wow, this is a movie that only The Asylum could love from the looks of it. Actually, the special effects are better than the average The Asylum films. Hell, the CGI is better than the dreadful CGI in Argento's Dracula.

I loved the mad scientist in that film who thinks he's doing the will of Ba'al only to get a very big surprise at the altar.  :buggedout:

I watched this again the other night: it still doesn't make much sense. Part of the cheesy fun, I guess.  :teddyr:
