:bluesad: R.I.P. Russell Johnson. I enjoyed him in most everything I've seen him in which was actually quite a lot over the years including...
It Came From Outer Space
Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki
This Island Earth
Attack of the Crab Monsters
Rock All Night
The Horror at 37000 Feet
Episodes of Adventures of Superman, Boris Karloff's Thriller (The Hungry Glass), The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits (Specimen: Unknown), The Invaders (The Trial), MacGyver, and of course Gilligan's Island
RIP Russell Johnson. :bluesad:

I have never watched a movie with him in it.
to honor him I'll watch
The horror at 37,000 feet asap
I'll also play out all my Gilligans island DVDs too - all 3 seasons :bluesad:
Good night, Professor. Sleep well.
Many of his parts were bit parts but he was still entertaining I felt...
Godspeed, Mr. Johnson.
I was saddened when I heard this. Now only Mary Ann and Ginger are left...
Good night, RUSSELL. We all looked to the Professor to make sense of that mess known as "Gilligan's Island".

And yet another classic comedy star leaves us. Like most Tv shows, some of us remember Gilligan's Island in first run, while others of us found out about it in second-gen reruns. It's such a wistful feeling knowing that our favorite stars were with us long after their starring roles, only to slip away from us one fine day decades later. And we look back and realize that
we're not younger anymore either.
And with the eventual passing of Tina Louise and Dawn Wells, Gilligan's Island will fade
into TV history. All that will be left are the now-silent back-lot studios they once laughed and lived on, as their ghosts stand lonely vigil over the crumbling sets and props they once called home.....
for Dawn Wells (mary ann) at 75 years old she still looks great _ Imo does not look her age at all.
Heard this on my way to work. Real bummer. I loved watching this show and I got my kids into it.

I read that there was very little difference between Tina Louise and Ginger Grant in real life. They both had the same personalities.
Another good guy gone....a memorable actor on both the small and big screen. :bluesad:
