Title: Sci-Fi from the 50s/60s
Post by: Welchit on January 27, 2014, 10:40:35 PM
The image of this has been burned in my brain since I saw it. There is one scene where these"people"/ aliens from another planet have hostages (from earth?) that they perform some kind of head surgery to get to the brains so they can eat the brain. At least that is the image in my brain and it has bugged me for over 35 years. The "people" from outer space have a flying saucer type ship and are wearing shiny (aluminum foil) type clothing. The actors are Japanese. This is as bad as when a song gets stuck in your head and youy have to hear it. I have to see this movie or at least the scene to get it out of my head. Anybody think I am hallucinating?

This sounds like Gamera vs. Guiron (1969) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064360/) (aka "Gamera tai daiakuju Giron").  Andrew has a review of it here (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/gamvsguiron/).

BINGO!!  I have seen it and I have conquered my demons! I was so scared of those 'aliens'. Now all I want to do is rip their clothes off.
