So, I was home sick on Saturday and I decided to hang around on the sofa and watch a few movies. It seemed like a good day for a selection or two from one of my Mill Creek sets. As fate would have it, I reached for The Zebra Force. Please don't confuse this with the sequel, CODE NAME: ZEBRA!
WTF??????
The movie is about a bunch on 'Nam vets (and until I saw the flashbacks in this movie, I never knew that Vietnam had autumn foliage) who fight the Mafia.
*** SPOILERS AHEAD (but you really shouldn't care, so keep reading)***
The 'Nam vets are all black, except for their leader who is a badly disfigured white guy who talks through an electronic artificial larynx device (which just makes his acting seem even worse). Well, we THINK the 'Nam vets are all black . . . until they peel off their black-guy masks and they are really white (thus, the title of the movie)! And the big plot twist is that the disfigured white guy is ALSO wearing a mask and he's really black! In between all of this drama and heavy social commentary, we get to see a lot of guys in bad 1970s suits and hair styles shooting each other.
This is a hilarious, unbelievable Mill Creek classic. Don't miss it. I rate it zero stars (which should make all of you want to see it even more).

To envoke Joe Bob Briggs: "We have bad hair, worse suits, tons of falling bodies, tons of bodies falling in slow motion. washed out color values, a cop who tries too hard to be T.J.Hooker, and more spent blank ammo that my calculator could handle. 4 stars, Burgomaster says check it out!"
never heard of this masterpiece, but I'm highly impressed with the trailer
some serious falling-out-of-windows/-off-buildings action there
I love that first guy who fell off the balcony. :bouncegiggle:
And I forgot to mention that Mill Creek has the plot summary, year, and cast for the sequel CODE NAME: ZEBRA printed on the box insert, but the movie on the DVD is ZEBRA FORCE. Nothing but quality from the folks at Mill Creek! Although, I think I can understand the confusion because both the original movie and the sequel are often known as CODE NAME: ZEBRA . . .
This looks awesome! Which Mill Creek set is this on?

SUSPENSE CLASSICS 50 MOVIE PACK
SUSPENSE? Kinda a Misnomer there, methinks. More like 'bust caps and drop stuntmen from high places.'

"Classics" is also a misnomer for 99% of Mill Creek's movies.
The trailer looks amazing. My favorite's the mafia-looking guy who gets kicked across the face.
