This is a mere taste!
MERE! MEEEERRREEE!...
TASTE IT!
Back in the 80's-I lived in NYC-I got into lotsa punk rock.
But I still loved my Sabbath,Hendrix,AC/DC-Led Zep-then I heard punk-loved it-but a strange thing happened-
s**t Glam metal bands took over.( Sorry Circus).
Then the 90's-metal fused with punk...I was so happy-and then metal just went crazy!
And I loved it!
Still do!
Suicidal tendencies-POSSESSED!

More Human Than Human, White Zombie.

I even dig solo Rob Zombie stuff:
Dragula, by Rob Zombie.
Rob Zombie - Dragula (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqQuihD0hoI#ws)
Powerman 5000. The singer from this band is Rob Zombie's brother. He's had some success, but not as much as Rob.
Powerman 5000 - When Worlds Collide (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsV500W4BHU#ws)
CKY was a decent 'alternative metal' band that came up in the 90s.
CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgQ7qOCDFYQ#)
CKY - Disengage the Simulator (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FNhhulxe2o#)
Cannibal Corpse - The Bleeding (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNvi1KgYrs8#ws)
Alice In Chains - Again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__biilMpnmw#)
Korn.
Korn - Freak on a Leash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRGrNDV2mKc#ws)
Korn - Shoots and Ladders (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU2k-U2Ze0o#)
I'm going to be head-banging for a little while now. Nice music!
90's metal...bah! :twirl:
I was mainly an 80s metal kid but the 90s had some decent stuff... some of my faves...
Warrior Soul
Warrior Soul - Love Destruction (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT1muWE8RzA#)
Prong
Prong - Whose Fist Is This Anyway? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLya_k_lQL0#)
Saigon Kick
Saigon Kick-Track 2-Hostile Youth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtF0W0cJypg#)
Shotgun Messiah (started out as a glam/hair band then turned on a dime and went all industrialized metal out of nowhere...)
SHOTGUN MESSIAH-I'M A GUN (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtYxIkb7HHI#)
Marilyn Manson was pretty big when I was a kid/teen back in the '90s.
Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ypkv0HeUvTc#)
Marilyn Manson - The Dope Show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R682M3ZEyk#)
Pantera was big, too.
Pantera - Walk (Official Video) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkFqg5wAuFk#)
Rammstein, as well. German heavy metal. I guess they'd take the cake.
Rammstein - Du Hast (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzGKsXPBILw#)
Amerika - Rammstein (English Subtitles) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxroiTRg7Tg#ws)
I was very into Slayer and Pantera in the 90s. Pantera really nailed everything I like about heavy guitar music and the whole 'you can't f*** with this' attitude. although I think their best ever album is Reinventing The Steel which is from 2000.
also really liked Megadeth, they had some fantastic tunes but could never seem to be consistent over a whole album IMO.
Metallica's Black album was amazing, but I didn't like anything they did after that. also Annihilator's - Never Neverland is a masterpiece, but I've never liked a single other album by them. never got into Anthrax somehow either, not sure why...

Eh,
some of it was OK, it's just that we woke up one day and it was the 90's and things had drastically changed in the music world. Guess that's how it goes, huh? :bluesad:
No love for Carcass? Even though they got their start in the late 80s, their 90s era stuff was AWESOME. :drink:
