By hanging free-hand off Dubai's 1,350-foot tall Princess Tower, three Russian teens selflessly do their part to combat the world's overpopulation problem! Wonder if they'd let me take out a life insurance policy on them?

Oh dear...I'm starting to feel my breakfast burritos swirling around in my stomach :buggedout:
I think every nerve in my body pulsed at the same time.
the wide angle lens certainly is effective...
Yup - felt a little funny in my lower stomach...
Then my brain tells me - don't YOU ever do this.

There's "stupid" . . . and then there's "a special kind of stupid." I hope the wind currents remain friendly to them!

Nice article. Thank-you for posting this ER.
Looking at this . . . several things come to mind.
(1) Nice looking teens. Much better looking than the teenage American scumbags I normally see.
(2) I do hope their feats of derring do, do have some effect on the problem of overpopulation. If only to get people think about the problem.
(3) Does the fact that they are Russian and/or Ukrainian have anything to do with what they do?
(4) I do see a tightening up of security on these tall buildings and a cracking down on anybody who tries to do this. For legal reasons . . .
(a) Not from these people, God forbid, that they should fall off of one of these builings, because if they do, they are not going to be any condition to sue, but from . . .
(b) not any other idiot who attempts this, but from the family of any idiot who attempt this, and falls to their death.
(c) and from the family of anybody, who also is not going to be in any condition to sue, who is on the ground and is hit by anybody falling from the building.
(5) And nice photos. Much better than any of the photos I take, even on the ground.
Thank-you again, ER.
Breathtaking!
Sadly, Russia is probably the one country, other than Japan, where overpopulation is the LEAST concerning.
If current demographics continue, both Russia and Japan stand to halve their populations by 2050.
Anyway - that looks scary and cool at the same time. Not sure I could do it - but there is a (very small) part of me that wants to try.
I got chills just looking at those. No way would I ever be able to do anything like that.

Yes, risking your life climbing buildings is a "thing" among young people in Russia (though not Ukrainians).

That may be rude, but it is oh so true. You don't live in the same area that I do, and the teens here look no where near as neat as the teens in the photos.
I don't want to argue about it

I don't know how people like this exist? the guy grabbing on by his fingertips and doing aerobics moves, just...why?
used to know a painter who had to climb tall buildings for his job, I asked him how he dealt with the risk of heights and fear of falling etc. he said once you go higher than about 30 ft up it's more than likely you'll be a gonner if you fall, so in that respect being 50ft up is no different to being 1000 ft up. the increased fear is only in your mind.... nice theory, if you can think like that but I can't!
