Fortuna, the tiny kitten I rescued two weeks ago is doing great! She is getting bigger, playing with everything,
and then napping for an hour straight before going adventuring again . . . there's no longer any talk about "finding
her a good home." She found one!!

She's absolutely adorable Indy! You're the best for rescuing her and giving her a great home.
I will nickname her "Contented Kittie", not Grumpy Cat.
She's so precious! You're a good man,Indy.
Edcellent. She is sweet. Looks like Fortuna has cat herpes based upon the runny eyes and crusty nose; my very large red tabby has the same. I clean his eyes and pick his nose everyday.
She had several cuts/abrasions on her face when I found her - she was actually pretty bloodied up. She's all healed now, and her eyes and nose are clean.
When I saw her lying in the road and realized she wasn't dead, I wouldn't have given a nickel for her chances of pulling through. She surprised us all. This morning she was chasing our huge grown kitty Gina through the house!

My cat was rescued by my sister-in-law, just before my brother died. Chubby is special to me, very sweet, and has cat herpes which is a common affliction. How wonderful for your kitty that she had injuries from which she recovered and you were there to help her. I am a cat lover and love that you took that sweetheart in.

You know, I am pretty sure now that Fortuna is actually a Fortunato, if you know what I mean . . .

Did you "Edgar" on? "Drink! Drink! Drink!"
Guess she was 'allen'free.
I say "nevermore!" to these Edgar Allen Poe puns. And you can quote me!
I agree: no sense in raven on and on about it.
Does my comedy gold bug you?
I'm just a Poe boy, nobody loves me . . . :teddyr:
We interrupt this pun war for this breaking news story:
Fortuna is MALE!!!! Henceforth to be called TUNACAT.
We now return you to the Edgar Allen Poe pun fest:
At least, he's not a BLACK CAT!
Tunacat? I find this name change fishy.

That is awesome, Brother Trevor!
Let me offer you a silver bell for your effort. Please, tell the tale of how you can up with this pun. I heart it most enthusiastically.
Well, ya know what they say...you can tune a radio, but ya can't tunacat.
Indy you've got a keeper there alright. Give her plenty of food and in a year or so you'll have yourself a good eating cat.
