So, I saw the new Ninja Turtles film this weekend.
It was, shockingly, not as bad as predicted by most. Bay isn't the director, and with most Bay films, if he's just PRODUCER, it's not bad.
Was it flawless? No. But as a lifelong TMNT fan who predicted it to suck all kinds of crapiness, I will say...I walked out smiling. A legitimate smile. I had fun. They did a good job. I left actually wanting a sequel.
A better review should happen. Maybe tomorrow. It was fun.
I like it. it wasn't perfect, but it was fun.
Once you get past their looks, I thought the turtles themselves where dead on.,
The look throws you off at first. But the personalities were dead on. It's not flawless but it's not as bad as people made it out to be. I honestly hope there's a sequel.
Good to know, I will go to theaters when it is released here then.
About the series, did anyone see the one from the 2012? I personally think it is the best of the three animated ones.
IMHO, the 2012 series is GOOD, the 1987 series is so-bad-is-good overall the first three seasons, the 2003 series instead is not good enough to be memorable, not silly enough to be enjoyable.
I really look forward to seeing this one in theaters here. The trailer looked fun and William Fichtner as a badass Shredder...sold.
