01 Saving Christmas
02 Left Behind
03 Leprechaun: Origins
04 The Hungover Games
05 Devil's Due
06 Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie
07 The Legend of Hercules
08 Hercules Reborn
09 Behaving Badly
10 Kite
Not seen any of these listed and neither do I pan to see any of them except for maybe Devil's Due.
They're saying this isn't good?
"Leprechaun: Origins" Official Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYg51_PFeHA#ws)
Their tastes obviously aren't as refined as mine :teddyr:
Spring Breakers from I guess last year was the last movie that really moved the needle in terms of people just being upset about how bad it was.
THE HUNGOVER GAMES was totally tasteless - but also hilarious.
LEPRECHAUN was not bad, IMO.

06 Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie
this is spin-off of an extremely popular sitcom here in the uk called Mrs Brown's Boys, which is probably the least funny sitcom I've ever seen.
amusingly even people who like the sitcom are saying the movie was bad, so I'm guessing it must be ultra-crap
I wasn't even aware that Leprechaun: Origins had even come out, there weren't any trailers or TV spots and it wasn't listed at any theaters near me.
I saw The Legend of Hercules on tv not too long ago. Wasn't that bad.
Still planning to see Kite, Devil's Due and The Legend of Hercules.

Poor Kirk. I'm sure he meant well . . .

I never saw Growing Pains so I have no real attachment to the guy. All I see are his miserable adventures with a certain mustachioed cretin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Comfort).
Well that and his religious anti-gay crusades. Honestly, I have no love for the guy.

Was LoH the one with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, or the one with Kellan "I'm almost like Chris Hemsworth if you squint hard enough" Lutz? 'Cause Johnson seems to always be having fun even when he's in something bad so it might be worth a viewing...

I'm not so sure he does mean well, actually. Compare him with Stephen Baldwin, another c-lister who get a lot of flak for his religious beliefs - any time I've seen Baldwin interviewed he's courteous to others and he seems to have spent a fair amount of time actually exploring his faith. Kirk just comes off as a combative attention whore most of the time.

Dwayne's is just "Hercules", and it's actually pretty fun.
Just noticed Left Behind is number two on the list.
I'm sensing a pattern here.
Hollywood nearly always pans Christian films. However, in all honesty, one reason for that is that many
Christian films are truly, terribly bad. And I say that as a Christian.

What are you talking about? SPARTACUS? the TEN COMMANDMENTS? Was Ben Hur a bible story?
I dunno.
All the old Universal horror films were very religous. The cross always kept the vampire away.
And when Henry Frankenstein tryed to play God-he got f**ked.
Fifty years ago it was a very different story. Hollywood had a different attitude, and those films were of much better quality.
And there are some modern faith-based films that defy the stereotype. But there are a LOT of low-budget Christian films -
and some not-so-low budget - that are absolutely terrible!!
Left Behind is a huge business. I agree with one take on Revelation I read which is that unless you think Jesus is actually a 7 headed lamb or whatever it should probably be taken as just symbolic
I liked the books better than the movie, but I still didn't finish the series. It's just one interpretation among many.
I saw two good Christian-themed films this year: OVERNIGHTERS (documentary) and CALVARY.
Most of the "inspirational" films are terrible because they put message first, quality second.
I'm a little disappointed that God's Not Dead (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu0mZe5wZ_Y) isn't on here. That movie was way more than just a Christian movie, it's anti-atheist, anti-islamic, hate speech.
And it has Kevin Sorbo in it.
F**k 'em.
I loved that particular film. "Hate speech"? Really?
I realize you are an atheist and will object to the film's message, but
I saw nothing hateful about it. The depiction of how Muslim families
react if their children embrace Christianity was painfully correct, perhaps
even understated. In much of the Islamic world, converting to Christianity
carries a DEATH sentence. So having a father slap his daughter and
throw her out of the house for converting is not out of line at all.
God's Not Dead strawmanned atheism by making us look like douchebags that hate god.
I do not hate god, I think he's a fictional character. It agitated the s**t out of me. Yes it's hate speech, it's no better than a Chick Tract.
I shouldn't have hijacked the topic, and I apologize.
I would enjoy continuing this conversation via PM.
In the meantime, how about those HUNGOVER GAMES, guys?

I don't know what that is and I don't want to know. Just from the title I'm getting a "Friedberg" feel from it.
Wheres the tornado movie-have any you folks seen the tornado movie? INTO THE STORM? What a mess!
Just shows-special effects can be great-but if it sucks-no amount of cgi can save this piece of s**t.
Its like EARTHQUAKE without actors.
I saw some cool little Christian movies on netflix. well cool maybe not the right word but enjoyable.
C Me Dance remains just about the worst movie I've ever seen. It was such a huge disaster, nothing was done right and it had no charm just ...Zonk!

Just the title tells me I don't want to see it.
No you really should. it's something else
C ME DANCE is really, really bad. Of course, that's why we're here, isn't it?

The Rapture is a terrific terrible movie. David Duchovny, Will Patton sex, murder, the end of the world
It's a live-action Chick Comic.
