Ever since I started here, I was told that the 1973 South African feature Boesman And Lena was not here in our holdings.
Imagine my surprise a few hours ago when I found a 35mm print of this film tucked away in a corner of one of our vaults. :teddyr: :teddyr:

Not a nice picture but a very good film and I'm glad we have it.
Congratulations on the find! That is very, very cool and I am sure quite a feeling.

Thanks Sister N: this version is wayy better then the excruciating 1999 version in which all Angela Bassett seems to say to Danny Glover is "Owww mai gahhhd, Booosemen!" Terrible. :buggedout:
Anyone know if archive.org accepts historical photographs, there are a few I have digitized that aren't on the web
You have a cool job!
If you find LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT-look for it under the alternate title the HYPNOTIST.-wouldnt that be someting.
Ya never know!
I want to see this movie, now.
Are you hiding a copy of the spider pit scene from the 1933 King Kong, too?

It is good indeed. :teddyr:
We only keep South African films, unfortunately.
