There's really no evidence in that report to suggest there was a serious plot to kill or hurt the teacher. It could be just kids talking. At 9 years old I can imagine myself suggesting something like that to one of my friends with no intention to really go through with it.

I remember in high school (1980) we had a teacher who was allergic to chalk dust so she always asked us to clean the chalkboard, saying "Don't make dust!"
Well, we made as much dust as we could. :tongueout: :twirl: :wink:
Thankfully the youngest ones I ever taught were 5th graders. Yeah, kids can be very bad, but I'd ultimately place blame on the 'rents.
