Title: News outlet messed up BIG time when breaking news of Nimoy passing

ABC7 in New York messed up BIG time (http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/238580/local-news-makes-terrible-leonard-nimoy-obituary-error/?utm_source=share-fb&utm_medium=button) when breaking the news that Leonard Nimoy passed.

An episode of the Simpsons comes to mind here.  Do these people even know who he was?
