OK, I admit it: I saw it recently and I liked it (ducks thrown shoes). It is lewd, rude and crude but I genuinely liked it, especially the Hollywood scenes on the set of Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season :bouncegiggle: and Mark Hamill as the unfortunately named Cock Knocker :buggedout: who then has to demonstrate why he is named thus.
The film is directed at peeps like us who will get all the in jokes: I got a good laugh out of much of the film.
i bought the blu-ray of it a couple years back and i had never seen the whole thing. however i ended up loving it, but for me what hurt the film was Will ferral i don't hate the guy. i can take him or leave him. but in a film like this he wasn't needed in this film at all. in fact i think it hurts the film cause his humor is so out of place in a film like this.
well that's my thoughts about it, what does anyone else think?
I got the special edition of this one. I remember enjoying it a lot, but I haven't seen it in eons.
I love this movie.
Personally, I like most of Smith's films, however, he's best at doing Jay and Silent Bob films. The ones he's 'branched out' a bit like Jersey Girl and Tusk, well... :bluesad:
his worst film for me and no i haven't seen Jersey Girl yet to be fair. is Cop Out man was that a really really BAD film. and you know it's bad when smith himself i think regrets making it. Bruce Willis may have been a prick behind the scenes i do believe that. but he was good in the film, Tracey Morgan well he should have NEVER been cast at all. though i do love Zack & Miri make a porno though. i haven't seen anything by smith since Cop out to be fair, so i dunno how good or bad those films are like i said to be fair.
I enjoyed this one when it first came out and was an old favorite. I think my tastes have moved on slightly but the Good Will Hunting 2 scene is always a classic. Love Gus Van Sant just counting his money.
