As I write this, there are protests going on at almost all universities and colleges in South Africa against fee hikes.

I get the right to protest - protests like these in the past toppled the previous government  but these make me angry.
1. Education is a privilege, not a right.
2. If the students cannot afford the fees, why are they there?
The protest on the Union Buildings' grounds: about half a block down from the Film Archives' building. :buggedout: :buggedout:

Just FYI: that smoke and fire resulted when these students set some porta-potties on fire. :buggedout: :buggedout:
