This is singles, not Mill Creek or Echo Bridge sets. I sold a lot of mine to Hastings a while back, so this is the one stinkin' up my shelves presently....

Still, any flick that has Neil Sedaka singing about a waterbug can't be all bad.
Hip Hop Locos (2001). It's also the worst movie ever made in my opinion. It's about rappers killing drug dealers in order to finance their album. Horrible, horrible hot mess of a movie.
Definitely The Polonia Brothers' Galaxy Of Terror box set.
The runner up would be ProAudioDVDsDOTcom's Zoom H4n DVD Tutorial.
For an educational video about a piece of audio equipment, the audio quality is, eh.... Aw, nevermind!
It also kinda tends to lose my attention an awful lot...

I'd have to go with the George Clooney version of Solaris as I've never been able to sit through the whole movie despite a few attempts. When it first came out we had a compitition at the place I worked to see if anyone could watch the whole thing. Only one guy did and all he would ever say about it afterwards was to demand the time back he'd wasted watching it.
No doubt I could find worse movies in my collection, but none of them had the budget or big name cast & director that Solaris had and to me, that clinches it the top (or bottom?) spot.

Unfortunately the director was so embarrassed he removed the DVD from circulation, so it's also one of the rarest DVDs I own.
Hm...I think it's one of those 9 Horror-Films on 3 Discs Compilation.
Can't remember how it got into my collection, but it's there.

I still buy quite a few DVDs but tend to streamline my collection frequently and get rid of any I really can't stand. worst currently in my possession is probably The Deadly Bees. almost worth keeping for the cover alone!

Ugh.. it's probably a tie between these two:
TWO THOUSAND MANIACS (1964)
I know this movie has its fans (especially Herschell Gordon Lewis-philes), but man.. it's SO slow and dull and the intentionally super-hammy performances wear thin quickly. Seeing ex-model Connie Mason fail miserably at everything is good for a few chuckles but that's the only positive, really.
AMAZONIA (1985) aka WHITE SLAVE and AMAZONIA: THE CATHERINE MILES STORY
This Eurotrash flick picks up in the final third or so, but too late to save this snooze fest. A pseudo-documentary of a white woman stuck in cannibal Amazon territory who learns to survive, fall in love with a native, and get revenge on the people that put her there. Not based on a true story, and not worth your time mulling through to get to the much better final third.
Eh, I guess TWO THOUSAND MANIACS gets a slight nod as the worst DVD I own.
Leprechaun 2. *Barfs*
Came in a DVD pack with the first three movies. The first and third installments were awesome (especially part 3). The second film made me question/re-evaluate my film preferences.
Honorable mention...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1712035/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1712035/)
The cast come across as a pretty stiff, and I couldn't get past that age old question, "What would God need with a space ship?"
Of course, I know Fabian Rush, & knew it had been in post production for five years when It came out.
Fabian shot it entirely on green screen in his living room, and I didn't know until I saw the DVD xtras, that most of the cast never even met due to scheduling conflicts & an unexpected pregnancy, so Fabian had to film each of them individually, then use cgi to put them into the same scene.
Talk about determination!
Another honorable mention
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441662/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441662/)
The cgi is terrible, the audio quality is poor, much of the dialog is over written, some characters are over developed, some are under developed...
It's almost on par with a Polonia Brothers flick, with one huge difference; Most of these people are real actors & actresses, who aren't trying to take themselves too seriously.
As bad as this movie is, you can see everyone having fun making it, and it kind of rubs off on you.
Jerry Trimble's Live By The Fist (1993)
What an absolute corker of a movie. Looks like it was filmed in the Philippines with a budget of $40, and with actors pulled from the streets of Manila. This purchase was made from a bargain bin, which had some similarly bad action movies like Rage with Gary Daniels.

I dunno, I read about it in Danny Perry's The Book Of Cult Movies, & had to get it out of my system, but, jeez, every damned one of the characters is just so hateable...
According to IMDb, these are the 10 worst movies in my collection:
01 Hip Hop Locos (2001 Video)
02 Return of the Boogeyman (1994 Video)
03 Search for the Beast (1997) - Yes, it's bad but Psychotronic bad. I've rated this 10/10.
04 Curse of the Headless Horseman (1972)
05 Alien Incursion (2006)
06 Invasion from Inner Earth (1974)
07 Ancient Evil: Scream of the Mummy (1999)
08 Isis Rising: Curse of the Lady Mummy (2013)
09 Kill the Scream Queen (2004)
10 House of the Dead (2003) - Well it's a bad movie classic, so 10/10
I wonder If I should start going through some of these dullorama box sets I picked up at the drug store...

I own a copy of Manos: Hands of Fate that my old dvd player wouldn't play. I think it was trying to save me. Of the movies in my collection that I have watched, I think the award would go to Hootenanny-a-Go-Go. This film features a young Joan Rivers being slightly less funny than she is now (and yes, I know she's dead). It's on my shelf to get rid of, but I haven't done it yet.

The Wizard Of Mars (1965) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059920 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059920)
Repackaged as Alien Massacre, with a cartoon of a topless woman reminiscent the Galaxy Of Terror poster on the front of the box, and a very sketchy & inaccurate description on the back of the box, I must've passed by this one a dozen times at the bulk close out store before breaking down & buying it.
Lots & lots of walking & walking & walking.... Way more than Timbo Hines' WOTW.
It's like somebody got a hold of some real sets & props, a great editor, & a decent budget, and then put The Polonia Brothers in charge of one half & Larry Buchanan in charge of the other.
For some reason, every time Jerry Rannow's character Charlie has a line, he either get a close up, or the camera seems to center on him, as though everything he has to say is either hilarious or profound, but he just comes across as an office comedian everyone want to put down.

I'd say the Something Weird double feature of CARNIVAL OF BLOOD and CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN is the worst. CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN is the worst movie I have ever seen because it is both terrible AND boring. I love terrible movies. But when a movie is terrible AND boring . . . wow . . . too much.
Runner up is probably Lucio Fulci's CONQUEST. I couldn't watch the whole thing in one sitting. I had to watch 15 - 20 minutes at a time.
For sheer volume of badness, I will say Al Adamson's HELL'S BLOODY DEVIL'S. It's actually a pretty entertaining bad movie, but somehow I accidentally bought 3 copies of it over a period of about 2 years.

Do you have something personal against the works of Orson Welles?!?!?
I have so many terrible DVDs that... I can't choose! I'll go look and see if I can find a candidate for the worst.
hhmmm...i'd say blue sunshine.
It kind of depends on your definition of "worst".
If you mean "I regret ever buying/owning/watching this because of the film itself", it would have to be "They All Must Die!". I started a thread about this film when I was a member of this forum ages ago. I even reviewed it on my pathetically-maintained blog Bargain Basement Thrills and Deranged Visions. (Yes, I'm plugging my blog. Someone has to. Maybe.) Sick, vile, and the closest I have ever come to being both sickened and offended by a movie. (To give you an idea of how warped I am, I actually found "A Serbian Film" entertaining but flawed and darkly humorous.)
If you mean "THIS is a DVD release? It looks like poop strained through cheesecloth!", then it could be any number of DVDs I own that were released by VideoAsia. They are well-known for taking worn-out VHS tapes of obscure films and saving them, bad tracking and crappy washed-out resolution included, on DVD. This allows them to legally say the films are "digitally remastered" as they ARE converted to a digital format that they use as a master copy to produce the DVDs. Heck, some of the insanely low-resolution channels on my Roku look better than these DVDs.
If you mean "Why does this thing exist in MY collection?!?! I don't even remember buying this gawd-awful thing.", then I'd have to say the winner is "Things". While I do remember buying it, I cannot bring myself to watch it again simply because it hurts my head to watch it. I mean this literally. It induces a headache and somehow short-circuits my thoughts. One viewing, and you will never be quite the same person again.
Hard Rock Zombies
All the ones that didn't work and became coasters.
I had a DVD of Fear Chamber (1974) that flickered in and out like it was taped off satellite TV with satellite interference.

Quality wise I'd say the worst DVD I have is a copy of
Nightmare Castle which seems to have been sourced from a print which was wiped with a pair of my undies and put through a meat grinder. :buggedout: :buggedout:
The Polonia's How to Slay a Vampire, the movie is absolute butt. It came with three other movies, two of which manage to be even more butt.
Quality-wise, I have a copy of Prehistoric Women that's so washed out, green, and blurry that I can't even tell what's on the screen at any given moment.
Edit: I'm probably going to remember something else but two separate entries on this topic is probably enough.
Picking a film from The Asylum, I'd probably go with Apocalypse Pompeii but only because I got rid of Transmorphers and AVH: Alien vs. Hunter.

Speaking as a film archivist, that means the source prints of those films were badly faded.
