I drink coffee like there is no tomorrow, but I don't do Starbucks unless my caffeine levels are dangerously low and no alternatives prsent themselves.
Their espresso is weak and flabby and its always made by people who don't like coffee. Its the MCDonalds hamburger of coffee... perfectly adequate, but not exceptional. I don't see the cult status of it.
However now I'm jonsing for some brew... Thanks SO MUCH Sprite...

Why do people care about red cups? We ran Starbucks just about out of our country due to our obsession with proper not crap coffee so I don't understand why anyone cares what color it is?

The brew-ha-ha (pun intended) over the Starbucks holiday cup is just silly. It's a red cup, the Starbucks logo is green and white... what, those colors aren't Christmas-y enough for these people? Would they be happier if the cups showed Santa Claus and Jesus beating Satan over the head with a Christmas tree? Sheesh.

They are upset that the removed the word "Christmas" from the cup, I think. Not exactly following this story closely.

Frankly, neither am I, but . . .?! One of the complaints seems to be that Starbucks replaced the Christmas tree ornament that was on last year's cups with the Starbucks logo. Just making the cups that less Christmas-y.
