Is anyone watching this? It's a new digital sub channel that gears toward scifi movies. So far, they've shown Octaman, Robot Holocaust, Zone Troopers, and The Initiation of Sarah. I guess The Initiation of Sarah is a bit of a stretch, but I like a good witchy showdown.
It kinda seems like what MyTv used to be, before they decided to become just another local UHF channel.
Yesterday, I was able to catch the 2nd half of Robot Holocaust.
So far, I've only been able to catch bulk reruns of Stargate SG1 & The Outer Limits, which I've already seen when they used to be on MyTv.
It looks hopeful, but I really want to see more movies than reruns.
Yup, got it here too. Fun choice of flicks, with good prints to show. Not that I still wouldn't LOVE to see reruns of MST3K!
Yeah, there is a lot of Outer Limits and Stargate SG-1. I was hoping they would show some even older movies like The Monolith Monsters, but they did show Night of the Comet and I love that movie.
Comet TV is starting to get on my nerves. The promos keep saying they're gonna show "A Message From Space", but it seems like all they have is The Outer Limits & Child's Play stuck on loop. :hatred:
E-yeah...now they start to bug me with the constant repetition of what they just showed. SEEN it! (Sigh) Thank God for DvD...
Aw, well, no joy here in Topeka, KS, where watching paint dry, grass grow, and street lights change color are still top attractions.
"I wish we could gets us one of dem dere Sharknados here. Mah cuzzin Eddie says he seen one or two in da Kansas River. Sharks, that is, not a turnado. Turnado? Is that Mexican?"
We got it here-I watched the VAMPIRE AND THE BALLERINA (1960),KONGA (1960),and SUPERBEAST (1972)-I just wish they would play more movies and less Stargate and the updated Outer Limits.
I keep seeing The Return Of Dracula, followed by reruns of SG1...
This is starting to turn into that soft oldies radio station that your boss makes everybody listen to that plays Sarah by The Jefferson Starship two or three times an hour even though it's an FCC violation because they can't find enough sponsors to buy a bigger record collection... :hatred:
Yeah, this station has gone to pot with the quickness. I did manage to watch Futureworld and it were a real snooze.
Yeah-but its better than most TV-it showed the H-MAN (1959),THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN,and MOTEL HELL-so-thats better than Sasquatch hunters, midget families, singing contests...it had the Quartermass movie-the first one-with the blob that eats this guy up-the CREEPING UNKNOWN! That was great!

Eh, the weekends are improving, I just wish they'd quit treating the weekdays like they're on autopilot.
Yeah, THE CREEPING UNKNOWN is a keeper, along with some others. For 'free TV' that's some improvement.
I really like a Canadian channel called CFTV - they play lots of classic movies and last Saturday I caught the original Outer Limits and Kung Fu on there.
Well, somebody certainly seems to be obsessed with SG1... :buggedout:

Or the guy who handles the video has bladder issues.

It's like acid reflux of the TV schedule.
there is something called Cozi tv that I watch. it's got Charlie's Angels, My favorite Martian, the bionic Woman and stuff like that
Just watched FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY TERROR and the Adamson FRANKENSTEIN VS DRACULA-plus INVISIBLE INVADERS,QUEEN OF BLOOD,the TOWN THAT DREAD SUNDOWN-I really love this channel-f**k the reruns-its nice to see some REAL bad movies on TV! Reminds me of old Creature Feature!
I watched Troll II the other night. Loved it. I'm glad they quit showing Gass-s-s-s.
I was excited to see they were playing Mad Max... :hot:
Then they cut out the opening chase scene, & it somehow ruined the whole movie for me... :hatred:
Never seen anybody do that before... :buggedout:
This has interesting potential

Another reason to hate them. 'Lets make room for more commercials!'

Seems, it's not so much to make room for more commercials, as much as it seems to be for making a big, ten minute gap at the end of every movie so they can throw in more drooling SG1 worship... That, and they really have absolutely no idea to use commercial breaks.
