Even for us, this is a little whacked!

Trust me-if I could control the weather-it would be over where ever ISIS is-and I would strike them with lightning.
And I would make it just be 59 degrees all the time. Thats comfertable -sitting out side with the radio and grill-weather.
Amazing, Indy. Freak weather, tornadoes, AND an earthquake in the Texas panhandle? What did you folks do to p**s off Mother Nature?
I think it may have something to do with how bad the Cowboys sucked this year. :hot:
I forget, where exactly do ya'll live, Indy?
Grammatically correct use of "Y'all" = 10 bonus points!
I'm in Greenville, TX - about an hour NE of Dallas.
Keep warm, safe and dry, guys.
If Aliens are controlling the weather they're doing a p**s poor job of it.
Here we just had the hottest December on record and a bunch of bushfires just ripped through a couple of beach side homes taking out about 90 houses. Further up North they had some large floods which have killed one or two people. And it looks like it'll be hot again over New Years so that combined with fireworks is a cause for some worry [Temps going to soar over 40c/100f].
That map you posted Indy reminds me of the weather here a couple of years ago. It got so hot in the center that the Bureau of Meteorology had to add a new colour to our heat map.

And to think, I actually miss having to deal with that on an '85 Virago...
The real problem behind all the insane weather:
