I hate writing these but I just read that the British actor Alan Rickman, known for the Harry Potter series and as Hans Gruber in Die Hard, has passed away at the age of 69.
RIP, Mr Rickman. :bluesad:

He is an actor that will be missed. He was loved by people of all generations for the different roles he played.
My favourite role of his will always be Galaxy Quest, with Die Hard second. My sympathies to his friends and family.
The Sheriff of Knottingham for me.
I'll miss him.

10:30 tonight. You 10:45. And bring a friend.
Just re-watched GALAXY QUEST last week and was planning to watch again soon. Now, we really have to.
Also have been planning another watch of QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER...another memorable role.
RIP, Mr. Rickman.
Rest well, Mr. Rickman. You will be missed.

Though I thought that film was suck-ass,
ALAN RICKMAN was wonderful in his part. He was a huge talent and will be missed. Good night,
ALAN.
Good night, dear Severus.
What on earth is going on? So many talented people lately!
RIP, Hans Gruber and Sheriff of Nottingham. RIP Alan Rickman.
Also can't forget him as Marsten in Quigley Down Under. Wonderful villainous performance in that one, too.

I think my favorite film of his was the underlooked Dogma where he played Metatron.
I told a friend, who is also a Die Hard fan. He said that Christmas Eve won't be the same. :bluesad:
