I am seriously considering opening a drinking establishment. I'm not 100% on it yet...still weighing my options and all that.
I've got a name for it if I do open one. It's probably going to be called the Lucky Peach.
If you were to open a bar, what would you name it? Try to come up with a title that only has two words and post it here.
McSippy's.
My uncle's bar was named Uncle Pleasant's.
When I was in the Navy, there was a popular bar in the Philippines run by two retired American Vietnam veterans.
One had lost a foot to a punji trap, the other had lost a hand when he didn't let go of a grenade quick enough.
The name of the bar was STUMPY AND GIMPY'S.
Cat Tap.
Seriously though if I were to open a drinking establishment I'd want to see what my Great-Grandpa named his bar and maybe reuse that name as a homage to him.
Beer Joint.
the Dive
Stink Finger
Prospero's. It's a Poe reference, and about ten years ago I almost opened a restaurant and that was going to be the name. If I'd been able to get this piece of land near the historic riverfront, it was going to be Prospero's on the Point.
HELLO YELLOW.
ASH'S HOLE.
PUNGENT PUB.
Used to hang out in a bar called Granny's Attic. I think I'd steal that name.
God, I miss those days.

Trev's Undies Bar
In my home town is a restaurant called "The little cottage".
In German it's "Die Kate".
I would take that in any english-speaking country, if just for the Simpsons reference...
That's cool. I'm sort of looking for a bar name for our basement bar. I'm not fond of the term 'man cave' because it sounds too selfish...

Or how about "Cat House?"

lol that would be almost true... my cat seemed to claim the pool table... :)
The basement bar is going to look like a medieval tavern (at least an attempt). I was thinking like a typical D&D meeting grounds before the Adventures actually find work :)
