I saw the movie Munchies and I have mixed feelings. I thought the movie was terrible, yet I loved it. The reason I loved it; the Munchies. Those critters know how to have fun. Cute fuzzy critters uttering phrases like "I wan't to see naked women", and "Shoot him in the knees, shoot him in the knees!!!" and to hell with this" made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Yes, since there were munchies in the movie Munchies, I give the movie 5 slimes. Minus the munchies and I give you a skull, but there were munchies. Every one go see Munchies today!!!
Hey hey hey! About time someone mentioned this movie before I did! I took a trip to toronto last week and found this gem for 3 bucks in a comic store. I can say its worth a look if you want to see roger cormans gremlins rippoff. I would have to agree, the munchies are the best part because of the lines that sometimes you have to pay attention to hear. Overal I don't think i'd go as far as 5 slimes, but maybe 3 or 4.

Well Gremlins was a rip off --of my wallet. It never made up its mind whether it was a comedy, horror, drama or what. Munchies sounds much better.
I haven't seen Munchies, but I have had the displeasure of viewing another Gremlins knock-off, Hobgoblins. Not just the MST3K version, but the original without the safety net Mike and the'bots provide. Wow, bad cannot describe it. It does have one moment of joy, though, as you'll first scower in confusion, then laugh like a hooligan during the impromtu gardening implement gladiator fight.
