Of,course, this is a really good movie:It's got great CGI FX,Jeffrey Combs, lotsa great looking,zombie-esque ghosts,an exploding head,a Death figure-clad serial killer that slays both humans and ghosts,Michael J. Fox's character name being homage to one of the coolest actors in "Phantasm"(Bannister), "Addams Family"'s John Astin as a Rick Baker-created ghost,Gary Busey's son doing a Keifer Sutherland-style villain turn,"E.T."'s Dee Wallace Stone showing her really dark side, and
a heavily original plot by Peter Jackson that, despite lessening his trademark gore for the big name studios, still mightily rocks!!

             In other words:See It!!

Of course it is! Despite some special effects overuse, it is one of the best fantastic movies of the last years, and one of the very few which succeeds in making a working mixture of humour and horror. Gore fans might be dissappointed, but this one surely has a place in my videoteque.

Don't forget to tell us what you think of it after waching it.

It's okay.  There are some problems here and there (specifically the opening moments of the film don't exactly jibe with the rest of the movie, and other things scattered about the rest of the film), but for the most part it's fun.

I liked it too, especially the ghost F/X.

Heck yeah it's a good movie!! Extremely well written, acted, and directed. Jefferey Combs is AWESOME in this movie! It lacks the inasne amount of gore and shear grossness that Jackson has become known for but his cleverness and since of humor is abundant. Deffinately a top-notch horror/comedy.

I didn't like it much either--it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a horror film or a comedy.  But I liked it better than DEAD ALIVE, which was about as horrific as a Monty Python movie.  Not that they are bad movies, but they are not to my taste.
But I loved MEET THE FEEBLES, so go figure....
