Only a day after Debbie Reynolds' daughter Carrie Fisher passed away, Debbie herself has gone to join her daughter.

My only cinematic experience of Debbie was in the fantastic Singing in the Rain (1952). Debbie was barely 20 years old, and had no dance training. But with tutelage from the master Fred Astaire, and her own iron will, Debbie looked like the consummate dancer. Debbie's huge Hollywood costume collection was legendary, but mostly auctioned off in the early 2010's.
RIP Ms. Reynolds. Will always remembering you singing in the rain.
Good night DEBBIE. We all love you.
I'm not going to ask what else 2016 has up its sleeve . . . I'm scared of the answer.
RIP Debbie
Rest in peace, Debbie, and give Carrie a hug. We will miss you both.

Sting, Debbie Reynolds, and God.
RIP Debbie.
Very bittersweet. I'm sad that they're gone, but also happy that they are together now.
