Okay, this game is pretty simple. I'm going to describe a scene from a non-existent movie/story/what have you. I'll set up an interesting situation and YOU come in and deliver a witty one liner that fits. After I get a few entries, I'll judge the winner and award a point! Then we'll go on to the next scenario. The scenario's will be everything from mundane situations to bizarre fantasy/sci-fi/horror scenarios. The crazier line you can think up, the better!
Ready, to begin? Alright!
Scenario One
The Old Wise Man stands in front of an ancient, ominous-looking door that magically floats several inches off the ground. Runes in a long-dead language inscribed on the wood glow with a dark energy.
Turning to the party, the man looks at them gravely. "Before you lies the gateway to Aldara, the only place to find the item which you seek. It's a twisted, evil dimension full of madness and chaos, where only the most brave (or crazy) of souls dare visit!"
My one liner: Sir Garland, "Oh, kind of like the DMV?"
(Now, it's YOUR turn to come up with one that's better!)
Old Jewish man stage whispers to his friend, "Oy, sounds like the Temple Beth-El restroom after a gefilte fish supper..."
Adventurer: "Wait! I just found a duplicate item on EBay!"
Party member: "Can't be worse than Wal-Mart on Black Friday."
When is the awards ceremony?

When is the awards ceremony?
Don't forget that formal wear IS required. I have my evening gown; do you? :buggedout: :bouncegiggle:
News anchor: "Are you that hacker known as 4Chan?"
"Sounds like thanksgiving with my family"
Announce the winner, AOT! I don't know how much longer I can wear this ball gown.

But you look so cute in hot pink taffeta.

"just once I'd like to go the the dimension of sunshine, happiness, joy and fluffy bunnies."
This one was tough, a neat crop of entries. ER, I admire your neat cultural reference, although I have to admit as a Gentile I had to look up what gefilte fish was. Also, sure how the ball gown discussion got in here, but the girl in the photo's cute, so we won't complain. Indiana, liked your outside the box thinking. Chainsaw, I'm sure we've all felt that way!
But, gotta pick someone.. so.. I think I'll go with... ER, cause I'm a sucker with funky references.
I'll try and do round two soon!
(Meant to wrap this one up earlier, but just now found out the site was back online!)
This win is going on my resume!
