I think the idea of a Modern American History class is excellent . So much has happened in the last 30 years-the fall of Communist Russia and the Eastern Bloc countries,the wars in the Mid-East-were very important and relevant to events today.
Today we talked about the Clinton inauguration and the Branch David Ian standoff.
