I like BAD TV movies too... there's nothing on the boob tube, so I'm watching something I'm sure I thought of as "nothing on" 30 years ago.
This: RETURN TO MAYBERRY (1986)
http://youtu.be/ybuivLU536c (http://youtu.be/ybuivLU536c)
RETURN TO MAYBERRY is worse than that great old show ever got...but I still love "THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW" It's like visiting this website: spending time with family.
I like BAD TV movies... Do you?
I don't know if they are 'bad' per se, but I used to love the Wonderful World of Disney movies. One of my favourites was The London Connection (1979), screened in Australia as The Omega Connection. Spy movie with tricks and gadgets.

A very bad TV movie that was awesome was Assassin (1986). Also released on VHS, it's the story of a robot assassin that looks like a human, and the people trying to stop it. Oddly, it was rated R in Australia, but there wasn't any kind of violence or sex that would warrant such a rating.

There are so many bad TV/made-for-TV movies:
Mazes and Monsters
Love, Lies, and Murder
The Boy in the Plastic Bubble
Captain America (1979)
and the 70s Hulk vs Thor TV movie

Saw this one not too long ago, and Yeah it was pretty bad.
Saw BIGFOOT (Asylum) starring Danny Bonaduce and Barry Williams last week. It was horrible, but some of the kills were pretty hilarious.
I recall seeing ABC's the WEREWOLF OF WOODSTOCK (1975). I also recall it was a reeking pile of dogs**t. Or-wolfs**t,such as the case may be. The immobile werewolf mask looks like it was bought at a dime store. And it was produced by that icon of horror-Dick Clark!?

You can watch the whole mess on youtube-but here's an example of this excretion.

White walls on an Army jeep? WTF?
And I don't think the werewolf was aware he was really pulling the girl's hair while dragging her along.
But they could have had more fun with Wolfie trippin' balls.
Here's another mind-boggler from the stupid '70's-
KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK (1978)
By the time this ...thing...came on TV, I was about 3 years past my "Wow! KISS!" stage, but I watched it anyway.
Kiss battle an evil mad scientist (Anthony Zerbe-best known as the leader of the mutants in the OMEGA MAN),and his army of robots in an amusement park. It all plays like an episode of Scooby Doo-and with good reason. It was produced by Hanna-Barbara.
Side note-this mockery of entertainment was directed by Gordon Hessler-who did the Vincent Price films The OBLONG BOX (1969),SCREAM AND SCREAM AGAIN (1970) and CRY OF THE BANSHEE (1971),before sinking into TV land obscurity.

'IT'S ALIVE' (1969) No, not that 1970s monstrous baby movie, this is directed by LARRY BUCHANAN (the "schlockmeister") of such wonders as MARS NEEDS WOMEN (1967) and ATTACK OF THE EYE CREATURES (1965). But, 'IT'S ALIVE' has got to be the worst. Like the other two mentioned films, 'IT'S ALIVE' was released directly to TV.

I like them so much that I bought this, which is mostly bad TV movies:
Hallows-I was gonna list MARS NEEDS WOMAN or one of Larry Buchanan's other cinema quaaludes-but ya beat me to it! :bouncegiggle:
Anyway-
CURSE OF THE BLACK WIDOW (1977) concerns a were-spider woman. Yup. And it stars Patty Duke ,Tony Franciosa and Donna Mills as the crazy Spiderwoman. Pretty f**king stupid-but not even in a "bad" way-just dull.Though the spider looks like it could have been used in a Bert I. Gordon movie-this film was done by (gasp!) Dan Curtis! Who is really slumming after his great job with Jack Palance's DRACULA (1974),TRILOGY OF TERROR (1975) and the big screen BURNT OFFERINGS (1976).
I was gonna lay a clip-but nah-why? But here's a bit of nostalgia-the ABC Friday Night Movie opener!

I can only speak for myself-but SyFy movies are a whole other kettle of fish (or sharks,if you will)!
Pax used to show B-grade made-for-TV sci-fi/disaster movies on Fridays. I always enjoyed those.
Of course I do, who doesn't?
I rather enjoyed the following:
Really fun:
Rocky Jones movies (made using the TV series)
Voyage Into Space (featuring Jonny Sokko)
The Munsters`Revenge
The Incredible Hulk Returns
The Trial of the Incredible Hulk
The Death of the Incredible Hulk
Killdozer
Nick Knight
G.I. Joe: Arise, Serpentor, Arise!
These are really bad yet somehow enjoyable too:
Where Have All the People Gone
The Disappearance of Flight 412
Riding With Death
Captain America (1979)
Captain America II: Death Too Soon
The Tower (1993)
Official Denial
Within the Rock
Dead Fire
Legion
Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998)
Snowbeast
The Horror at 37,000 Feet
Moon of the Wolf
Jase-yeah-thats a big ol list-but some of them-in my eyes-were good.SALEMS LOT and DUEL are classic. The thread is not about TV movies-we all know about that-this is about BAD tv movies.BAD!
Sorry I read the thread wrong...don't think I had Duel in there though...nevertheless, will modify it accordingly...

Good lad!
Seriously, these long lists are not particularly interesting or useful. More to the point, we need to give everybody a chance. And I agree,
DUEL is a
GREAT movie - made for TV or not.
I do like that
SNOWBEAST thingee. And, it is
BAD!!!

I actually enjoyed this one a bit. Slow, but interesting. One of the few AIP-TV Larry Buchanan films which wasn't a remake. AIP had planned it as a theatrical release starring Peter Lore. When Lore died they shelved it. Later they hired Buchanan to make films for their new TV division; when he asked them for scripts this was one they gave him.

And before that was Model by Day
a low budget superhero tv movie, that I'm wondering now if it was supposed to be a tv series pilot.
