I been a member of the CHFB since 2006- as long as I've been here. But I don't post there as much because- I dunno- I don't feel the kinship like I do with the folks here. Some good film historians post there- Gregory Mank, Gary Don Rhodes (I have all his Lugosi books) Tom Weaver (who writes good books and is bat s**t crazy), Dr. Kiss, and our own Raffine-and I feel I can hang with my knowledge of film easy, but I post there only occasionaly-I feel more comfertable here. But it's a good board with soooo much info and and knowledge.
Is anyone here a member or read the CHFB? If not- I highly recommend checking it out.

I'm sure I've heard of it, but I haven't been the till today. It looks nice, but tapatalk is too slow for my tastes.
They can get into some VERY deep and detailed discussions that go on for pages about the shoes The Monster wears in the Universal movie but mostly it's a loveable group of loveable old Andy Gumps like me. I cna't get into a lot of the discussions and I'm certainly a lightweight compared to the likes of Tom Weaver, but I genuinely enjoy the place.
In the past there were some very wild fights and yelling from some respected movie scholars but they are mostly gome, using getting mad and leaving because EVERYBODY IS AN IDIOT BUT THEM. But again they are (mostly) long gone.
I'm definitely a minor player there and I'm always happy to see you pop up!
Sounds like a fun place and it would be cool to interact with Tom Weaver, but I have no time for another message board. This place takes up my free time!

We can always help out if needed.
Whereas, badmovies.org could be called "The Classy Horror Film Board." I love all of you magnificent bastards.
I did find this at that board and I love it!
