I haven't had a lot of these but the ones I have had are all terrible. Most are light beers and their full calorie equivalents are generally just as bad.
If I want a light beer (and I frequently do) I'll take a Guinness (surprisingly low calorie). If that's not available I'll go for Miller Lite or Sam Adams light. Some of the lime flavored ones aren't too bad either.
Yeah, I think most of these came after I quit, but I do recall trying an Olde English 800 when I young... You'd hafta want a beer real bad to wan a real bad beer....
And to call a domestic pilsner "The Champagne Of Beers" is just sad.
Guinness is f**king terrible
I'm drinking OE 800 right now. these guys are hillary voters gtfo
lol beer fight. This is why I mainly drink hard liquor.

NOOOOO!!!!
I used to dislike the "Foreign Export" version when I was younger but now I like it. Dunno if they changed the formula or my tastes changed.
Literally drinking a Natty Ice right now. Which is at #2.

Aye aye, Captain Bligh! :drink:
When I last drank beer-which was in 1981- I drank Pabst Blue Ribbon. But I had drank other beer. I recall Huber being nasty as hell.
I became a teetotaler many years ago, but a treat for me is (a) having a yearly beer with Mom and rarely (b) having a beer - lemonade mix: delicious on a warm day. :drink:
I know having a beer with your Mom is weird but that's what we do yearly, so :teddyr:
Just btw: I was given a sip of whiskey by my maternal grandfather forty-three years ago: I swallowed it, retched and puked on the front lawn of his house. Never touched hard liquor since. :buggedout:
Woo! Yeah, there's some nasty stuff on that list, but I'm somewhat amazed that Boxer beer did not get a mention.

I made the mistake of buying this swill a couple of years ago and wrote a blog about it to warn others!!

You're not going to believe this but my IT dept blocked access to that link.
most cheap beer isn't so much bad as nondescript. Keystone beer has no known qualities. I think it wold be much more colorful of them to embrace a blue line generic label a la Repo Man
i have vague memories of generic beer...white can, black letters, it just said" beer".

Yep, I remember it too. When I was in college it was sold at the local Pathmark supermarket. My friends and I were never brave enough to try it. :D
They had a whole aisle of similarly plain-labeled generic products ("Tissues," "Spaghetti," "Corn Flakes," etc.)

nope, it was real, rev, but the letters were black. we bought ALOT of the generic stuff when we first moved here, being dead broke.
It exists, Rev... and it has a Ratebeer page!

I prefer ales over lagers.
IPA's and Pale Ales are my favorites. I want to taste HOPS when I drink a beer!

Welcome Brother Ash: hope you're well
Generally anything with Milwaukee in the name I don't like. Don't care much for Natty Light, Keystone, or Icehouse either.
Bud and Coors are OK if there's nothing else available. I have to take it easy on the beer because of the surgery I had and don't drink anywhere near as much as I did before.
