There was some big ad on the page
what was it supposed to be about?
Its shots from a giant shark movie called 'Meg', starring Jason Statham and someone who apparantly was given the name Li Bingbing by her (persumably) loving parents.
I thought that this must be about THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE. Which has been in production for literally 20 years.

I presume it's a Chinese name which just sounds funny to foreigners, like Wang.
The movie does sound interesting, if a bit standard. Hope they can make good use of the plot.
Yeah, I am not expecting anything special. Its just because I read the book of it many years ago. And well I am a sucker for shark movies.
Yeah, that's been kicking around Hollywood for a long time. Actually, ever since the book was published in 1997. Of course, there's always hope. Us fans of Eoin Colfer's teen series Artemis Fowl have been waiting for a film version of the series since 2001, when the idea for a film 1st came up. It looks like we'll finally see a film version of the series sometime in 2019. One does not have to wait that long for Meg. It looks like it has a release date of August, 2018.
I loved MEG and all of Steve Alton's other books! I'll definitely hit the theaters for this one.
hey kevin, thanks for the update on artemis, been waiting FOREVER!
Doesn't look too bad from the trailer.
