It's for 1979's DON'T GO NEAR THE PARK

I haven't ever seen this (what seems to be a classic film noir with Orwellian overtones ) film, but I'm sure it's the worst poster art I ever seen. Like a 13 year old Satan worshipper who listens to too much heavy metal drew it.
Ya know- because the hills are alive with 13 year old Satan Worshippers. They really are.
yeah that's somewhat weak. of course if it suits the crappiness of the film then that could be fitting? not seen it tho
reminds me of arrow's newer artwork for the demons dvd/blu re-releases. not a fan...

Ok, this was a terrible poster because A. it misrepresented the movie as it was mothra godzilla was fighting, B. it completely lied about what godzilla's enemy looked like in the movie and C. The art sucked.

I can forgive bad art but blatantly lying is a major no no.
Hey you guys found some miserable art. BELA got it right from the gitgo. That is the worst poster art I have ever seen...
That reminds me a lot of this.

At least Cannibal Campout only used the art for the VHS release though. Then again, there's no way it was getting a major theater relase anyway.
that is ridiculous!
At least some effort went into those drawings. You want bad? Remember the posters for X-Men: First Class?

Total time to make both posters in Photoshop: 10 minutes at MAX!

I did a quick test. Using gimp I could make a poster of that quality in about three to four minutes. Assuming the logo has been remade.
the worst thing is there were no doubt multiple board meetings held before that design was finally settled on!

Equally likely, is that the majority of the marketing budget went to tv spots and internet adds.
By the way, to any one who might need to hire a graphic designer, or a multi-media artist, or such in the future....this is what you get is you tell them your going to "pay them with exposure".
3 movies and they got the ligbtsaber colors wrong....

And.. I'm not sure what to make of this one, other than I know that it's not good.

Oh man, I read that as "worst poster" (without the art). I was thinking WyreWizard...
Retro, I king of like THE FALL poster---well, the center part with the face made out of objects, at least. It reminds me of a Magritte painting for some reason.
That MISSION IMPOSSIBLE poster . . . :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :buggedout: :buggedout: :twirl:

I love posters from Ghana. They're just so....crazy!
(https://i.imgur.com/4fwg66G.jpg) (https://lunapic.com)
The reason for the strange posters from Ghana came about , is that the government banned lotsa movies, so there were underground showings, and these were the posters for it. They would all get in a room and watch it on a VCR tape in someones living room.
That's what I read on an auction site, anyway.
A particularly cheap one:

Tommy Turtle as executive producer? That has to be a pseudonym.
One would certainly think so, but the best information that I have, there really is a producer or executive producer named Tommy Turtle. He is apparently English and works mainly in TV, with his latest production being the TV series Mars. He does have one advantage over most other producers, he has a name you'll never forget.
I'm resurrecting this thread because it reminds me of the "Bad VHS covers" which was amazing, but most of the images got lost by now. Upload moar please, they're hilarious.

I found more info about the mysterious Mr. Turtle. He likes to exercise.
