Someone I know was murdered the other night... by handgun; the tenant killer then killed himself with it.
I have known Gerry for decades, but not well. Many good friends were close friends, though. I remember a gentle quiet polite man. Many people knew Gerry. No-one seems to know the tenant.
Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss.
Thanks for your kind words, he is a loss to many I love. I think the only thing worse than having someone you love die suddenly is to have that someone be murdered.
That is very tough. You, and his family and friends, have my sympathies.
Yeah, I been through that a couple times.
It always freaks me out. :bluesad:
You know what is weird?
I have been closely acquainted with two different people who vanished without a trace and have never been found!
I am haunted.
I had freinds and family murdered. It puts the fear of death into you. :bluesad:
My next door neighbor was nearly murdered at about 4am, Aug. 27, 2016. The stupid, psychotic b***h who broke into her house literally did not know how to operate a gun and as such ejected the clip instead of taking the safety off. She hit my neighbor with the gun opening a bloody gash in her scalp and took off. I heard her screams and called 911.
So it almost happened next door to me not long ago.

Horrible news: sending hugs your way.
Shame your friend wasn't armed.

It's a shame the guy who shot him was.
Let's not turn this into another debate thread; this is a time of grief.
People have been murdered since prehistory, & armament isn't a guarantee against tragedy. :(

I agree with
Pacman in principle. However, there is no debate.
I agree with
RCMerchant because it's a bucket full of questions that fell on the floor when I heard the news. The crash was deafening... unlike a gunshot which from a handgun sounds like a corn pop. This is why Ron is my friend. Somehow, he gets me.

316zombie says what I would have said, but he says it better than I could have said it.
I'm so sorry :bluesad: :bluesad: :bluesad: :bluesad:
I'm so sorry to hear this. It's something I've had happen. A good friend was murdered by two guys a few years back right near Christmas. Although, if anything 'good' came from it, the cops got the guys and they're locked away.
Sympathies to everyone who knew your friend.
