Years ago, my friends and I played a miniatures game called Heroclix. Admittedly, I was never good at it and was kind of glad when we stopped playing it and moved on to some different card games. But, I really did like modding characters. Repainting and swapping around body parts to create different characters. I think I was fairly good at it, despite not using the more traditional miniatures paint sets, and used some cheap brand poster paint.
I try to still do it every once in a while. I actually turned a Gorilla Grodd figure into Ro-Man from Robot Monster and I want to turn a figure of Sauron (the pterondon man fro the X-Men comics, not the LOTR character) into Rodan.
I do some painting now and again, but it is not something I overly enjoy. More of a gamer than a painter.
