The AMC chain is doing showings of Smokey and The Bandit to honor Burt Reynolds. So of course I had to go see it this evening. It was enjoyable to watch it on the big screen like my parents did when it first came out.

I actually saw it in the cinema way back in 1977: I was ten. :teddyr:
I originally saw it at the drive-in. Then I saw it again in the cinema about a year later.
